Smart Attendance System using Face Recognition

About This Project

This project implements a real-time face recognition-based attendance system for colleges and schools. Using OpenCV's deep learning face detector and a custom-trained recognition model, the system identifies students from a live webcam feed and marks attendance automatically in a MySQL database. The Flask web dashboard provides teachers with live attendance views, export to CSV/Excel, and historical reports. Student faces are enrolled via a simple admin interface.
